FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a portrait cost?
Portrait commissions start at $15 for one subject. The final price depends on size, medium, number of subjects and complexity. The price is confirmed before work begins.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround is 3 days from confirmation of the commission. Shipping time is separate and depends on the destination.
Do I need a professional photograph?
No. Clear phone photos are usually enough. It helps to send several images so I can see the person or pet from different angles and understand their features better.
Can you combine several photographs?
Yes. If the people or elements you want in the portrait are shown in different photographs, they can often be combined into one composition.
Can I commission a pet portrait?
Yes. Dogs, cats and other animals can be commissioned in watercolor or graphite.
Will I receive the original artwork?
Yes. You receive the physical, one-of-a-kind original artwork — not only a digital image or print.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Worldwide tracked shipping is available. Shipping cost depends on the destination and is confirmed before purchase.
Can I order a portrait as a gift?
Yes. Portrait commissions can be created as personal gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, memorials or other occasions.
