The Ride

A passenger in a dark jacket sits beside a broad vehicle window, with the head turned towards the view. Pale yellow shapes appear beyond the glass, while the seat, clothing and window frame establish the interior. Green stems curve around its edges, carrying small red forms above and beside the figure.

Blue washes spread across the lower part of the composition and between the darker shapes. The watercolor combines a recognisable travel scene with plant-like forms, using translucent color and drawn contours. Its square format brings the passenger, window and surrounding details into a compact arrangement.
